Questions

Is it free?

Yes. KPI Master is free to use, with no account. Custom reports, integrations and automation are separate projects with an agreed scope and price.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. Your file is read and analyzed inside this browser tab and is never sent to a server. The optional contact form sends only the email and message you type.

Which files can I use?

CSV, TSV, Excel (.xlsx and .xls), JSON, JSONL, XML and YAML. Dates, currencies, percentages, durations and units are recognized automatically, and messy exports are tidied for you.

What does it show me?

Your key numbers with change against the previous period, trends with a forecast when one can be trusted, unusual values and sudden steps, which measures move together, what a total is made of, and where it flows between categories.

How reliable are the findings?

Each finding has to clear a statistical test and a minimum size before it is shown, so quiet data produces few findings rather than invented ones. “Move together” never means “cause”, and a forecast appears only when it beat a plain baseline on your own past data.

How big can a file be?

Up to 20 MiB per file and 5 files at a time. The first 50,000 rows of each file are analyzed, and you are told when a file is cut.

Will my work be saved?

Nothing is stored. Export a report, a spreadsheet or the data itself before you close the tab.

What is the offline edition?

A single HTML file with the whole tool and the examples inside. Open it in a modern browser with no internet connection and no installation.
